Licensed Cafe, Bakery and Gallery
Ingleside is a licensed cafe and bakery situated in the Georgian village of Evandale in Northern Tasmania. The business employs 18 staff and has been run by Steve and Jane Shaw for the last 23 years. The building is a classically designed former Council Chamber built in 1867 with a walled garden courtyard and a traditional Scotch wood fired oven. We have established a herb garden where we grow herbs and some vegetables to supply the cafe. We have excellent art for sale and a large selection of Tasmanian jams, olive oils, wines, sauces and gifts. We have always used Tasmanian flour and as much local and seasonal produce as possible. We welcome dogs to come into the courtyard and have some excellent magazines to read whilst sitting by the fire with a freshly ground Bruno Rossi coffee.
